“As an Innovate Finance member Contego are thrilled and excited by the news that Natalie Ceeney, an accomplished industry professional, has been selected to steer the FinTech sector through Brexit at such a critical time when the maturing Fintech market receives increased regulatory focus” Vanessa Richards, COO, Contego.

If you don’t know much on Natalie Ceeney, here some facts to get you up to speed:

  • Natalie’s previous roles include running the Financial Ombudsman Service‎ (FOS)
  • Ceeney is most well known as the ‘consumer champion’ who spent four years ensuring that the top 4 banks were held to account over the PPI mis-selling scandal. (Source).
  • Prior to her role at the FOS, she has extensive experience improving and developing technological change at organisations such as McKinsey, HSBC UK and Countrywide PLC.

Ms Ceeney has now replaced the previous chairman Alastair Lukies.
